Privacy policy
1. Controller
Silverstar Consulting GmbH, Lohengrinstraße 2, 95445 Bayreuth, Germany. Represented by Robert Kettel. Contact details: see the legal notice.
2. Principle
This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics tools. Fonts are served from our own server; no third-party content is loaded.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is delivered via Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. When you visit, the host processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system details to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Microsoft. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
4. Contact form and email
When you use the contact form or email us, we process your name, company if given, email address and message to answer your request. Form data is not stored in a database but delivered to us as an email via Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online). Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
To protect against automated mass submissions, your browser solves a short computational puzzle (proof of work) when you submit; no cookies are set and no third-party services are involved. We also limit the number of requests per day. For this purpose we store, for no more than 7 days, a cryptographic hash derived from your IP address and the date in Microsoft Azure (West Europe region); the IP address itself is not stored, and values from different days cannot be linked. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing abuse).
5. External links
Links, for example to LinkedIn or Microsoft Learn, are only followed when you click them. From then on, the provider's privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; ours is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
